Tracy Mayfield

Pastor Tracy is married to his high school sweetheart Michele "Christopher" Mayfield.  They have been married for 36 years and have two sons, Rusty and Jacob and three grandchildren; Jordan, Alivia, and Trusten.  Pastor Tracy joined the Navy after graduating from Cleburne Couty High School and is a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer.

Pastor Tracy accepted Jesus as his personal savior in 1975 during a showing of the movie "The Burning Hell" at his home church of Happy Hill in Heflin, AL.  While traveling in the Navy, Tracy and his family always found a church to be part of and served in several positions thru the years.  After retiring from the Navy and returning back to Alabama, the Mayfield family joined East Heflin Baptist Church and became workers in the youth department.  Tracy eventually became the youth director and answered God's call in his life to become a Minister.  Pastor Tracy was called by Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in March 2008 to become their Senior Pastor and he and his family have served faithfully until the present day.
